The Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) is governed by the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (Act). Under the Act, Members have a number of powers and responsibilities. 

Annual General Meeting

Members typically exercise their powers and responsibilities at annual general meetings (AGM) of the Members.
 
Registration information and applicable materials will be posted here and sent by email approximately one month in advance of each AGM.

Elections

The deadline for expressing interest in joining the Board of Directors 2022, this year has now passed.

The election takes place at the AGM and more information will be provided for Members in the Notice of AGM to be sent approximately one month prior to the meeting.

Bylaws

Bylaws are critical for any organization, including CPA, since they establish the rules for governing and operating a corporation such as the CPA. According to the Act, Bylaws must be approved by the Members. You can view CPA’s current bylaws here.
