CRD Entry-Level Student Award

This award will be offered to physical therapy students enrolled in entry-level programs who excel in both cardiorespiratory theory and clinical practice, and who have a special interest in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. The goals of this award are to encourage the pursuit of a career in cardiorespiratory-related physiotherapy care, provide recognition to students who demonstrate commitment to cardiorespiratory care, and encourage membership and participation in the Cardiorespiratory Division (CRD) of the CPA.

Two awards of $1,000 each will be available per year.  Students may only receive the award once. Submissions must be received by September 8 of each year.

CRD Congress Poster Presentation Award

This award will be offered to a physical therapy student, physical therapist, or researcher with a special interest in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy in order to present a poster and/or other presentation at the CPA’s Congress on a relevant topic on behalf of the CRD. One award of $800 will be available per year. Application deadline will be announced annually as it is dependent on Congress dates.
